Karivepa Karakara

Requirements
1. One non stick wide pan
2. Vegetable or corn oil
3. Perforated wide spoon to fry
4. Tongs
5. Stainless steel basin for mixing the flour

Ingredients
1. Full fresh branch of curry (kari vepa) leaves with intact stem
2. Basin flour
3. Finely grated ginger
4. Finely crushed green chillis
5. Salt

Procedure
Take 250 grams of chickpea flour in a stainless steel basin. Gradually mix it with
plain water and get thick gravy consistency.
Add salt, grated ginger and crushed green chilli to suit your taste. Mix it thoroughly.

Boil the oil in a low flame and when ready, dip the full length curry leaf stem
in the chickpea flour gravy and lift it gently
and drop it in the oil. Fry it in a low flame to get golden brown colour.

Serving
Serve it hot and crispy to your guests with one of the following
recommended drinks on a cool summer evening.

1. Ginger ale
2. Spicy V8 juice or with a glass of red wine

You can experience the heavenly taste.
