for best performers at the HSC for each year.
The award Cheques will be handed over by

Mrs Saryu  & Mr. Subba Rao Varigonda
during Ugadi function of the Telugu Association for each year.

Award money will be A$1,000
Frst prize : A$600
Second prize : A$400.

Terms & Conditions
1. The children's parents have to be Life members of the Telugu Association.
2. The qualifying membership of the association should commence during
the year of the examinations, not on the date of giving the award.
They must have become members before the result is known, ideally before the exam is undertaken.
3. Candidate's parent has to respond by sending in their nominations.
4. Nominations should be sent to the President or Secretary before the cut off date.
5. The award will be granted by the EC to the qualifying candidates from the list of applicants.
6. The awards will be handed over at the Ugadi function of the Telugu Association for each year.
7. Basis of selection will be the ratings given by the NSW Education Board.
8. If two applicants qualify for the top rank with exactly same rank, each will receive $500. There will be no second prize.
9. Similarly if two applicants qualify for the second place with exactly same rank, each will receive $200 as second prize.
10. The Association Executive Committee's decision on the deserving candidates will be final.
11. If prizes are not claimed for any year the prize money will lapse and will not cumulate to the subsequent year.

Cut off date to become member (If not already a member) is
1-Jan-2010 or before HSC results are announced whichever is earlier.
